Obituary 30 Years of Rotting Slow in North America
Obituary will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of 'Slowly We Rot' this September/October in North America with Abbath, Midnight and Devil Master. Man how time flies... it is hard to believe that it has been three decades since the release of our debut album. With that said, the band wants to make this US Tour something extra special for our fans. We are excited to announce that we will be celebrating this with a setlist heavily dosed with songs off of Slowly We Rot!!! AND... to make this fun and interesting we are turning to the fans each day to help us pick which Slowly songs we will perform that night and the ones you guys want to hear. This will be a challenge for the band as we have not played some of these songs in decades so, we are dusting the cobwebs off the old Slowly cassette and Re-learning all the songs and will be ready to perform them on stage each night along with all the Fan Favorites from the Ob-Catalog. ...more details about just how this will shake down coming sooooon.

Obituary Unveil "No" Via Decibel Flexi Series!
Obituary are making 2017 a big year for themselves. The Decibel Hall of Fame-inducted death metal legends have their tenth album on the way through Relapse, and they’ll bring their show on the road in March and April with Kreator, Midnight and Horrendous for the 2017 Decibel Magazine Tour. But to start, Obituary are the next to join the Decibel Flexi Series.
“No” was recorded exclusively for the Decibel Flexi Series. 2017 will mark the first year in Decibel history that each band on the tour has recorded a song for the series. You can hear “No” digitally right here.
OBITUARY are touring as part of the 2017 Decibel Magazine Tour with Kreator, Horrendous
and Midnight. The tour kicks off on March 17th in Charlotte, NC and runs through April 15th in Philadelphia, PA.

We just returned home from having a great time on our European tour with Empire of Evil, Dust Bolt, Posthum and Rotting Repugnancy. The tour was amazing and we want to thank all the fans for coming out and making it happen!!! We are working other plans to return to Europe this summer for some festivals and possibly another tour in the fall.

Xtreme Fest Destroyed!!!
Last night Obituary played the Xtreme Fest in France. The crowd was manic and the production was amazing. We would like to thank everyone who came out and threw down with us. Judging from the above picture you can see that the show was sick!!! Also, it was great seeing our friends from Sick of it All and Biohazard, it has been a while since we have hung out with our New York brothers.
Now we are in Prague for a few days off before the Brutal Assault Festival. We have played Brutal Assault Festival in the past and it was killer, so we are looking forward to play it again. See ya there!!!

Fan brings Obituary a backdrop in Lisbon, Portugal!!!
Before Obituary played in Lisbon, Portugal a fan was brought backstage by the promoter with a backdrop that he and his friend printed at his friend's sign company. We were all blown away and did not expect anyone to do this for us. What a cool thing for someone to do for us. It just goes to show how much dedication Obituary fans have for us. WOW!!! We didn't get the fan's name but we would like to personally thank him again for making a backdrop for us. You rule!!! Just to update our stolen backdrop situation, we have no news as of yet about who took our backdrop after the Stonehenge Festival in Steenwijk, Holland.

Obituary Backdrop Stolen!!!
This is a post that we hoped would never have to happen but we need to let our fans know the situation and hope that one of you can help us. Saturday, at Stonehenge Festival in Steenwijk, Holland somebody stole our BackDrop. It happen right after our performance while we were packing up our equipment. Here is a photo of it so, if you know who has it or think you might know anything about this Please helps us get it back! Can't describe how important it is to us and it really sucks for the band and the fans these remaining shows to see Obituary without it hanging! Real Bummer!! We are Offering a Reward to the person who helps us get it back. Please, let us know if you have any information about this.

European Tour in Full Swing!!!
Cueva Rock - Cagliari, Sardegna
We are in full tour mode now in Europe. Just finished playing a couple shows in Germany, 3 in Italy, 1 in Cagliari, Sardegna and the Metal Days Festival in Slovenia.
