SEPTEMBER 29, 2004
I am sorry for all of you who might have tried to contact me in the last few days. The last Hurricane that hit us took my power out and my internet since Saturday. It has pretty much sucked! But, we did survive and are on schedule to get to Amsterdam on the 6th. It is my understanding that the first show in Eindhoven is already sold out. That has us really fired up and dieing to get there. I am just about over these storms, this is the 4th one we have been through. I will try to get back to all the emails and get caught up on the message board. Thanks for all the support and see you all soon!

Things are going pretty smooth right now! It seems that the tour is falling into place nicely. All of the emails we have been getting have been nothing but positive about the upcoming shows in October. We thank everyone for all their support. Your emails and messages on the message board are so important for us to get a good understanding of what is happening. Please let us know anything you can about the shows near you. Good or bad it is important for us to be aware of what is going on. We have been going over the set list time and time again so we should be ready to go come the first show on the 8th in Holland. We do get their a day or so early so we will have a little time to hang out in Amsterdam and party down a little before we have to get to work. Maybe we will see some of you around the town.

Wow!!! These hurricanes just won't stop!!! Sorry, but I have been behind on everything I am trying to get done. Between being out of town and these storms I just can't seem to get caught up. We did survive once again with minimal damage, just a lot of cleaning up of debris, but unfortunately some of our neighbor Floridians weren't so lucky. Flooding and power outages have just been a real big problem. Our thoughts go out to all of them. Now we have a very scary hurricane Ivan, currently a CAT 4 that looks like it might get us again! We have been lucky so far either not to take a direct hit, or the storm decreases in power before we get it, so hopefully this one changes course to a different direction. I do have a lot, I am trying to get done with this site so keep in touch and we will get it going soon. We did get some very cool professional, vinyl stickers and will be selling them soon (you have to see these) so I will let you know when we get those set up. October is getting closer and we are getting ready to pound the shit out of Europe... can't wait!!!!!!!

Hey everyone! We are so excited about our European tour. We can't wait to get over there and pound some real Death Metal into the skulls of our European fans. Don't worry America we'll be hitting the U.S. soon enough. Our set list for the tour is complete and you guys are gonna shit!! We're doing songs we haven't played in over 10 years. We have a lot of surprises including a new song and some cover tunes. We sincerely want to thank everyone for their support on both our websites. Without you the fans we wouldn't exists. Keep checking the site for updates and remember you can get exclusive merchandise from us directly that's not available anywhere else.

I am feeling lucky today. Very Lucky!!! Yesterday there was a mandatory evacuation where I live. Originally predicted to directly hit us, Hurricane Charley came ashore just south of the Tampa bay area and spared us a lot of damage. As a category 4 storm with 145 MPH sustained winds and gusts up to 160 MPH this storm created massive damage (early estimates as much as 15 Billion dollars) and loss of life to the area just south of us. After traveling across Cuba and Florida this unbelievable storm is still moving up the Eastern coast of the United States but only as a category 1 Hurricane. Hopefully most of the damage is done and we wish the very best to those affected by this storm. As always the American Red Cross is very involved in helping the families in need and any donations can be made to them.

I was hoping to have tour dates for Europe by now. We had a couple of scheduling problems that we are working on but should have something any day. Things like this happen but we will get it done. Practice has been going great and I really think that you guys are going to enjoy this set. I am really getting excited. I will get back to you soon but for now I have to go and prepare for a couple of Hurricanes getting ready to hit Florida. That means getting plenty of beer and ice! Later...

Well, the web site has been up and running for a week now and everything is going great. I wish I would have done this years ago. It has been great communicating with all of you through our email, message board and live chat. We have been doing our best to keep up with all your questions. The majority of our time has been spent working on our new songs but yesterday we started concentrating on the new set list for our European Tour in October. I should have dates for that soon!!! We started with Slowly We Rot and are going though each album song by song to create a set list we never played before as well as some songs that might surprise you. That is all I am going to say. We are really getting excited to get to Europe... it has been too long!!! I will keep you up to date with what we are doing and please continue to send us your thoughts...

Wow!!! I can’t believe that this site is actually working! First off, thank you for your patience. If you have been waiting for me sorry it took a little while. I have been learning as I go along and, even though I have had fun, it has been a lot of work. I would like to thank Paul Poyntz and Trevor Peres for all their help. You guys rule! Trevor designed our other Official Web Site:slowlywerot.net. Don’t ask why we have two websites we just do because we want to. Keep on checking in with us because I have a lot of plans for this site and it will keep changing and updating with the more I learn about Web Design.
Secondly, it feels really good to be back writing new music and playing some shows here and there. We are playing only a few shows right now until the new CD is done. We hope to be recording it near the end of the year and hope for a release sometime early 2005! The shows we are playing are really fun for us because we are playing a lot of old songs we normally don’t play live as well as some other stuff. Hopefully, we will see you on the road so you can see what I mean.
I am not one to go on for too long, but I just want to say thank you to all of you for the support over the years and we hope to see you out on the road... Please keep in touch at fans@obituary.cc. We try to answer as many emails as we can but occasionally the mailbox gets filled up. If this happens please try again some other time and we will do our best to keep up because we would really like to hear from you.
Thank You,
John Tardy
