Frank, out of OBITUARY ??

Postby Will Of Death - Noiseweb » Mon Mar 15, 2010 5:30 pm

Hello guys !

Look at this : http://www.vkblog.nl/bericht/305249/Obi ... nald_Tardy

What's the fuck with that :

And you had Terry Butler on bass instead of Frank.
I don't want to talk about it but: Frank is no longer part of Obituary.

Thx to confirm this or not...

I was very surprised by that too.

Maybe (in the studio/tourbus) he farted like yeti one too many times. :butthead:

Who knows.
Death is just the beginning...

I know he also playing with Gorgoroth, maybe he decided to play with them full time. Don't know. Be interesting to see if Terry becomes a full time member or if not, who they will get next.

Wish i knew how to play bass!! :?

C'est la vie. Anyway, he didn't write a single song for Obituary, so it's not as big of a loss as say, losing Trevor or either of the Tardy brothers would be.

Edit: Hey, Will -- are you into France's new death metal scene? Some really killer bands like Bloody Sign, Affliction Gate, Herpes, Necrowretch, and Hades. Highly recommend. Sorry for going off topic. :D

I wonder why we haven't heard anything from John yet. They're usually quite quick with the updates.

Will, Manipulator is really good, too! It's strange that France finally has a death metal scene. :P

I thought I read somewhere that Frank needed some time off to take care of personal business.

I do not think it's "out of Obituary". The fact that they can rotate awesome musicians into the group to let folks rest and still crank out epic material is a good thing.

Actually Frank is no longer with Obituary. He left for personal reasons and everyone hopes he's doing well.

Hope things are going good for Frank...I gotta great memory of polishing off a bottle of Jack Daniels with him (Allentown, PA 2005), so what else could an Obituary fan ask for...

Allright now I see Kenny Andrews as bassist for the band. Did Terry Butler already get kicked out, or was he just in temporarily??

Anyway with Frank, hope all is well with him.

You guys gotta play Maine sometime!!

Actually Kenny played this short tour. Stevie D. will play the first leg of the European Tour and Terry will pickup from there. This is going to be a great tour!
